Helping strengthen the image of Brussels as a metropolis
Visit.Brussels is the Brussels Agency for Tourism that aims to strengthen the image of the Brussels-Capital Region by positioning the city locally and internationally as a metropolis. And nothing could be further from the truth: more than 180 nationalities live together in Brussels, making it a cosmopolitan city. Visit.Brussels has no less than 180 employees. Isabelle Vertongen, communication advisor at Visit.Brussels, is one of them: “We want to show the inhabitants of Brussels, but also everyone else, that there are many reasons to visit the Brussels region.”
Annual award ceremony
Due to the diverse identities of Brussels, the city appeals to different types of visitors with the most diverse interests. Visit.Brussels tries to accommodate all these visitors in their specific wishes. In addition, the Agency organizes an annual award ceremony to highlight projects that have actively contributed to the image of Brussels, both locally and internationally. In this way, Visit.Brussels tries to reward initiatives that improve the quality of the visitors’ experience.

3D Trophy Factory has the honor, for several years now, to contribute to this in the form of personalized, custom made 3d printed awards. “I had already contacted other companies but none of them had enough resources to realize the projects we had in mind”, Isabelle says. “3D Trophy Factory did a great job each time. The team followed up on our wishes and the awards turned out perfect. Fortunately, this successful collaboration will continue in the future. “We will surely contact 3D Trophy Factory again for one of our biggest events this year, EAT 2019.” Thanks Isabelle, we are already looking forward to it!
