A few weeks ago we wrote about artificial intelligence deciding on this year’s Mixx Advertising Awards winning entry. Astonishing as it sounded back then, we were again left speechless by recent “award” news. This time, an AI legal advisory robot actually managed to win the Trends Legal Awards 2017 for technical innovation within the legal market.
Meet Lee & Ally
The company behind this project, a Belgian start-up called “deJuristen” created Lee & Ally, an AI-chatbot providing legal advice for companies. For the Legal Tech category, being introduced this year, there were several innovative projects in competition, defining a growing trend in the Belgian Legal Tech market.
Our glass of fame for Trends Legal Awards 2017
With AI handing out and on the other hand winning awards, the first award handed out and received by AI is soon to happen. Luckily, this time our fellow human beings weren’t completely left out. More than 10 other categories were divided amongst successful and reputable law firms. Congratulations to this year’s winners!
